Become a mentor that changes lives
The CBC mentorship programme invites mentors who can commit 2–4 hours per month during the school year to mentor Grade 11 and 12 or post-secondary students. As a CBC mentor, you will be giving back to the community by supporting our youth to achieve academic and personal success on their educational and career journey. Mentors provide goal-oriented virtual mentoring sessions, constructive advice and feedback, new perspectives on problem solving, and a positive environment that empowers mentees to excel.

To be considered for the CBC Mentorship Program, students must be attending a school in Calgary at one of the following institutions:
- Students attending the Calgary Catholic School District and enrolled in Grade 11 or 12 must contact their teacher or principal, who will submit the student’s name and a parental agreement form on their behalf (if the student is under 18 years of age at the time of registration).
- Registered members of the Mount Royal University Mentorship Program.
- Students attending a Calgary Board of Education school and enrolled in Grade 11 or 12 will be considered as capacity allows. Please include the school name, school contact name and email, the current grade you are attending, and what you hope to accomplish by participating in the program. A parental authorization form will be emailed to you if you are successfully paired with a mentor.
